Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure accurate SAP ERP transactions and support daily plant operations at the Denver site. You will partner with Operations Managers to track shipments, manage inventory, maintain documentation, and help keep the site safe and compliant.

The role supports customer order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and vendor relationships, with focus on accurate data and process discipline in a chemical distribution environment.

Qualifications

• SAP experience preferred.
• Product knowledge is beneficial.
• Detail oriented with accurate data handling.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory flow and put-away processes.
• Support receiving and shipping activities in the ERP system.
• Assist with cycle counts and backorder follow-ups.
• Track inventory discrepancies and resolve receipt errors.
• Maintain warehouse computer setup and 3PL coordination.

Primary Purpose

The Operations Coordinator ensures accurate SAP ERP transactions and supports daily plant operations. This role partners with Operations Managers and Supervisors to track shipments, manage inventory, maintain documentation, and help keep the site safe, efficient, and compliant. Serving as a key liaison between Operations and internal teams, the Coordinator supports customer order fulfillment, shipment tracking, carrier coordination, and local vendor relationships.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate inventory flow
• Responsible for receiving (REC) and handling put-a-ways, (PUT)
• Complete freight claims
• Follow-up on back orders and Handle cycle counts
• Make appropriate adjustments for transfers
• Track damaged material, aged inventory and quarantine material
• Maintains warehouse computer set-up
• Handle vendor material returns and Issue credit memo for product and container returns
• Print PO’s with current location of product assuring 3PL inventory is available
• Track totes
• Coordinate daily shuttle loads
• Responsible for maintaining BASF consigned product
• Coordinate 3PL products
• Work with purchasing on aged inventory.
• Resolve miss-shipments, damages and follow-up on receipt errors
• Research and address problems with Inventory discrepancies and incorrect deliveries.

What you’ll need

• SAP experience preferred
• Product familiarity
• Detail oriented
• Strong phone skills vital for problem resolution and customer service
• The ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience shipping and receiving products using a computer inventory system
• Some product knowledge, chemical industry background and/or chemistry classes a plus

Pay & Benefits

• The salary range for this position is $50,340 - $62,910. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. [In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay]. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
