LVT is seeking an Operations Controller to own the accounting backbone of inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets as our manufacturing and inventory operations scale. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will safeguard accuracy of financial records and partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of US GAAP as it relates to inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets.
• Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.

Responsabilités

• Inventory Accounting & Reconciliation: Own the monthly reconciliation of all inventory-related general ledger accounts (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and reserves).
• Inventory Variance Analysis: Perform monthly inventory variance analysis (purchase price, usage, and manufacturing variances).
• Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory: Lead cycle count program and year-end physical inventory.
• Standard Cost Management: Lead the annual standard cost update process and maintain costs as BOMs and routings change.
• Fixed Asset Accounting: Oversee fixed asset accounting as inventory converts into fixed assets (capitalization, depreciation, reconciliation).
• Oracle ERP & Manufacturing Accounting: Serve as accounting lead on Oracle ERP project; ensure BOMs and cost setups are reflected.
• Financial Reporting & Close: Own monthly/annual close portions related to inventory, COGS, and fixed assets per US GAAP.
• Audit & Compliance: Point of contact for audits on inventory and fixed assets; prepare work papers.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement stronger controls across inventory and cost accounting.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering on complex transactions.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior staff on inventory and cost accounting concepts.
