Role Description
The Operations Consultant is the backbone of Zova’s internal systems — a strategist and executor who keeps workflows clean, teams aligned, and processes efficient. You’ll be advising the COO and executive team on operational improvements, helping establish scalable systems, and ensuring all creative and corporate departments run smoothly.
This role mixes business sense, problem-solving, and organization with a creative understanding of how Zova operates day-to-day.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations, business consulting, or workflow management (agency or startup experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of financial systems, basic accounting, and organizational structure
- Strong grasp of project management tools (Notion, Trello, ClickUp, Airtable, etc.)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to analyze problems and implement practical, scalable solutions
- Comfortable working in a startup-style, fast-paced, creative environment
- (Bonus) Knowledge of the digital creative industry (design, content creation, esports, or media production)
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the COO to develop and refine workflow systems across all departments (creative, legal, marketing, etc.)
- Assist in building and optimizing project management frameworks for client and internal operations
- Oversee or advise on financial tracking, logging, and budgeting systems (in collaboration with the CFO)
- Provide input on legal process organization (contracts, agreements, etc.) alongside the Chief of Legal Development
- Track and evaluate performance metrics, operational efficiency, and team productivity
- Recommend and document automation tools and software that boost workflow efficiency
- Prepare clear reports, charts, and breakdowns of operational progress and department alignment
- Act as a consulting bridge between leadership and staff to ensure goals translate into actionable workflows
