Bayer Crop Science in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, is seeking an Operations Associate to help deliver safe, on-time, high-quality supply and support daily site priorities. You will train staff, implement tools, and partner with site leadership to drive improvements in research operations, safety, and efficiency, while upholding SSHE standards and regulatory compliance.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing; a valid driver’s license

Qualificações

• Valid Driver’s License; MVR review required.
• Clear and accurate communication.
• Timely, collaborative decision-making.
• Experience in agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe, on-time, high-quality supply while meeting safety, quality, TIP, TOP and cost metrics.
• Organize and execute research protocols and operational plans to support daily site priorities.
• Support the implementation of new tools and technologies that improve research design, operations, and breeding outcomes.
• Operate research equipment, capture notes and data in internal systems, and adhere to SOP requirements.
• Execute daily site priorities independently and as part of a team.
• Train team members and seasonal staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and digital tools.
• Build influence through motivation, recognition, and leadership, including oversight and development of small teams.
• Ensure visibility and timely resolution of production pipeline challenges.
• Partner with site leadership to develop future-state plans and provide updates on milestones.
• Support community outreach initiatives that foster positive local relationships.
• Provide agricultural technical expertise and identify opportunities for improved ways of working.
• Apply data analytics and project management skills to support decision-making and operational efficiencies.
