Job description

Gopuff is looking for Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play a vital role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and working with partner drivers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
  2. Receive and unpack pallets, ensure inventory matches purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Manage inventory, re-shelving, and handle waste and spoilage following FIFO practices.
  4. Clean and organize the facility.
  5. Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items.
  6. Handle, scan, and move products safely using carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  7. Work in freezer locations periodically and be capable of walking several flights of steps.
  8. Prepare food and beverage items, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
  9. Maintain organization and standards in the kitchen, managing waste and spoilage.
  10. Prepare, package, and stage orders for delivery.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Experience in retail or restaurant (preferred but not required).
  3. Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  4. Knowledge of basic web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite).
  5. Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts and lift up to 49 pounds.
