Overview
The Operations Associate job provides technical, administrative, and operational support to ensure the company's smooth day-to-day functioning. The role will assist operations managers, perform clerical tasks while learning each production process in the building. Responsibilities will also include data analysis, workflow improvements, and other tasks as needed. The role requires good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. As part of a management trainee track, this role will have regular checkpoints for internal development with the objective of leadership within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, and may also create reports and dashboards
- Partner with the operations management team for day-to-day assignments
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggesting improvements can be a key part of the role
- Assist the operations and support teams with scalable processes to drive efficiency in the business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer questions and support active operational projects
- Collect and refine best practice recommendations, and continuously look for ways to improve processes, internal tools, and external product features
- Investigate errors to determine the cause of production issues and recommend corrective actions
- Assist with updating tools, systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth operations and achieve goals.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation as directed

Skills Required
- The ability to manage time effectively and keep track of multiple tasks is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed for interacting with colleagues and other stakeholders.

- Comfort with changing demands and priorities of a production environment
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software is often expected.
Qualifications
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business, or related concentration
- LEAN training or experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environment preferred
