Job Description: Operations Associate at Gopuff

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs are vital in ensuring smooth operations within our facility. This role requires drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenges involved.

You will be responsible for various operational tasks including picking, packing, receiving products both within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and collaborating with our partner drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for customer dispatch
• Receive, unpack pallets, and verify inventory accuracy
• Manage inventory, including re-shelving canceled orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Manage waste and spoilage, adhering to FIFO practices
• Communicate with customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, and reach during shifts
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations
• Walk several flights of stairs as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred but not required)
• Flexible schedule availability, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays

Compensation and Incentives:

• Pay: $16.95/hr
• $500 90-day referral bonus
