Job summary

Premium Guard, Inc. is seeking a Dock Coordinator to ensure timely processing of outgoing LTL shipments and accurate loading of freight.

You will support loading/unloading, monitor trailer readiness, and work with the supervisor to meet closeout and delivery deadlines. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (or 1–2 years in warehouse distribution); strong communication; and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–2 years in warehouse distribution.
• Effective communication skills in a team environment.
• Experience with MS Excel and MS Word required.

Responsibilities

• Process outgoing LTL shipments in line with procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight; ensure correct freight and locations.
• Act as the supervisor's second set of eyes for decisions.
• Monitor trailer loading quality and on-time cut times.
• Coordinate with supervisor to swap trailers promptly.
• Assist in organizing freight, information, and people to optimize efficiency.
• Prepare trailer closeout documents and bills of lading.
• Ensure all pallets are accounted for before shipping.
• Wrap and stage pallets for shipment readiness.
• Operate a forklift for staging and loading.
