Gopuff Operations Associate Job Description

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play a vital role by demonstrating drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products, and collaborating with our partner drivers.

Customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials, regardless of time or weather. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And if you like snacks, even better!

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for customer dispatch
• Receive, unpack pallets, verify inventory, and resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Manage waste and spoilage following FIFO practices
• Communicate with customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently
• Perform physical activities such as standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport products
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations
• Walk several flights of stairs as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred but not required)
• Flexible schedule availability, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays

• Compensation varies by location and market conditions, based on a cost of labor index
• Baltimore, MD Salary Range: $15.25/hour
