Job description

Gopuff is looking for Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play a vital role that requires drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and working with partner drivers.

Customers turn to Gopuff to provide their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We're building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers ready to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items for dispatch
• Receive and unpack pallets, ensure inventory matches purchase orders, resolve discrepancies
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Manage waste and spoilage following FIFO practices
• Contact customers for substitutions or out-of-stock items
• Handle, scan, and move products safely
• Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts
• Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment
• Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol
• Work periodically in freezer locations
• Walk several flights of stairs as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred)
• Availability for flexible schedules, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
