Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking an Operations Associate in Morristown, TN to help manufacture quality products and support production goals.

The position features a rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on) with 7PM-7AM shifts and pay of $17.50 per hour. You will contribute to a safety-focused environment and gain opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in manufacturing, production, packaging, or industrial operations is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete production documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up, validate, operate, and monitor automated packaging machinery used in the production of wet wipes.
• Support safe, efficient, and continuous production of high-quality finished goods in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustments, minor repairs, and routine maintenance to maximize equipment performance.
• Conduct quality inspections, product sampling, and accurate production documentation.
• Utilize manufacturing systems and scanning equipment to track production and ensure product specifications are met.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and assist with additional production-related tasks as needed to support operational goals.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or packaging experience.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, adjusting, and maintaining automated production equipment preferred.
• Proficiency using computers and manufacturing software systems in a production environment.
• Strong attention to detail with experience completing quality checks, production records, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 12.5-hour shifts with scheduled breaks.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 37 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand and arm movements required.
• Ability to work safely around moving production equipment and machinery.
• Ability to wear hearing protection when required in designated work areas.
