Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Manufacturing Associate in Morristown, TN. This hands-on role will have you running machines, assembling parts, and packing goods for global shipment, with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and a rotating 2-on/2-off/3-on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience using computers in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain automated packaging equipment used in wet wipe production.
• Support the production and packaging of finished goods while meeting quality and efficiency standards.
• Perform quality inspections, product sampling, and documentation throughout the production process.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and company safety standards.
• Utilize manufacturing systems including JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and scan gun technology.
• Adjust equipment settings to maximize production performance and minimize downtime.
• Accurately complete production records and quality documentation.
• Assist with equipment setup, validation, and changeovers as needed.
• Support team goals and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Motivated to learn, follow procedures, and work safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts with scheduled breaks.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts in a climate-controlled production facility.
• Hearing protection may be required in designated areas.
