Description

Position Title: Operations Assistant - Night Loading (7pm start time Sunday - Thursday)

Department: Operations

Position reports to: Warehouse Manager

Primary purpose and function of position: Pick orders nightly for the next day's delivery. Occasionally repack broken goods into clean new packages.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build sideload, draught, bulk trucks as well as stage product. Evaluate, clean, and repack product into saleable cases.
  • Ensure proper repack standards are being met and notify the night warehouse manager of potential issues.
  • Repack, sort, organize, clean, verify, and track repacked product as needed.
  • Stack and separate empty kegs and pallets.
  • Communicate with supervisors and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Restock all product pick locations, including floor, static, and carton flow racking.
  • Clean warehouse as directed.
  • Maintain warehouse product rotation standards.
  • Adhere to and follow all safety processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED certificate required.
  • Night loading experience preferred.
  • Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of the night loading team.
  • Willing to be forklift certified.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including handling cases of beer, reaching above head height, climbing, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull packages weighing up to 165 pounds.
  • Regular and reliable attendance required.
  • Required to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, background, and drug screening.
