Job summary

Obsolete Site in Huntsville, AL is seeking a versatile staff member to support Army NAF operations, assisting in facility management and cash handling. You will ensure only authorized patrons access the facility and submit daily operation reports to keep processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities include verifying cash counts, helping set up events, assisting bartenders, completing safety checks, and coordinating inventory orders with Food track or similar software.

Qualifications

  • Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
  • Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.

Conditions of employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • May be required to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Night differential pay is authorized.

    • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
