Job description

This position is located at MORALE WELFARE RECREATION FUND BOWLING SNACK BAR in Carlisle Barracks, PA.

Duties:

• Performs “Hands-on” supervision of the restaurant. This includes but is not limited to occasional temporary non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties.
• Monitors operations to ensure smooth running of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
• Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities; assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events.
• Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiter’s guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.
• Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorizes employees to clock in and out, reports to functional supervisors on employee performance.

Requirements:

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory complete all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a medical examination.
• A food handler’s certificate is required.
• Work requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 months experience effectively working in a fast-paced food and beverage establishment or a current MWR Texas Roadhouse team member.
• Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
