Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
  5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  6. Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
  7. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  9. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and damaged goods processing.
  10. Supporting staffing, sales effectiveness, cash handling, merchandising, and supplies management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. Preferably prior retail and management experience.
  2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
  3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
  4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
