Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following company policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness
• Manage cashiering activities ensuring cash handling practices are followed
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage and store displays
• Manage store supplies and expenses
• Assist with merchandising and impulse sales maximization
• Refill coolers and displays daily
• Assist in creating weekly schedules

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
