Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain all areas of the store to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not on the premises, oversee hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and related communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
12. Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays to maximize sales.
13. Assist with merchandise management, including damaged goods and weekly scheduling.
14. Manage store supplies, expenses, and merchandising to enhance sales.
15. Ensure coolers and displays are refilled daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
