Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following policies
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness
• Manage cashiering activities and cash handling practices
• Maintain promotional displays and signage
• Manage seasonal areas and stock replenishment
• Assist with weekly scheduling and expense control
• Help maintain the checkout area for impulse sales

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
