Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on the front-end and sales floor operations.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
• Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Maintaining store displays, signage, and seasonal areas.
• Managing store supplies and expense control.
• Maintaining the checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refilling store displays daily.

Qualifications include:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
