Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Help manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines
• Support promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales
• Coordinate signage and maintain store displays
• Manage store supplies and control expenses
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment
