Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas meet company standards, including recovery and stockroom management.
• Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Assisting with staffing coverage and sales floor management.
• Overseeing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Managing store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and promotional fixtures.
• Handling damaged merchandise and creating weekly schedules.
• Controlling store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining checkout areas to maximize impulse sales and refilling store displays daily.

Minimum qualifications:

• Preferred retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
