Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Contribute to sales effectiveness on the sales floor and seasonal areas.
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure proper cash handling practices.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain merchandising and checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including promotional items.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store operations.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
