Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store operations.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities in accordance with cash handling practices.
• Manage store displays, signage, and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Assist with merchandise processing, damaged goods, and weekly scheduling.
• Help control store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain the checkout area to promote impulse sales and ensure store displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
