Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, have direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily and sales effectiveness of the sales floor.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays to enhance promotional effectiveness.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Maintain checkout area and ensure store front displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
