Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
11. Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
12. Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and seasonal areas for sales effectiveness.
13. Coordinate signage and ensure store supplies and expenses are managed effectively.
14. Assist with merchandising, maintaining checkout areas, and refilling coolers and displays daily.
15. Support the creation of weekly schedules and manage store supplies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
