Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom organization.
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, and ensuring proper staffing and sales floor management.
• Managing cashiering activities, store displays, seasonal areas, signage, and merchandise processing.
• Creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintaining the checkout area to maximize sales and ensuring store displays are replenished daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
