Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect store assets, including cash, and adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities, merchandise, and compliance.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following company policies.
• Contribute to proper staffing and ensure sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling practices are followed.
• Maintain promotional displays and signage, and manage seasonal areas for sales effectiveness.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment, including coolers and displays.
• Assist with weekly scheduling, store supplies, and expense control.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
