Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is not on-site, assume supervisory responsibility for all hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas for sales effectiveness.
• Coordinate signage and ensure store supplies and expense control.
• Assist with merchandising, store cleanliness, and inventory management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
