Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Support store functions and daily activities as directed.

Customer Service Role:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering store questions.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing, and transporting merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise independently.
• Handle customer funds accurately and process transactions via POS system.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment by monitoring customer activity.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain effective store operations.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 55 lbs.; capable of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, developing potential, results-driven, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, job knowledge, relationship management.
