Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities following cash handling guidelines
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage in the store
• Process damaged merchandise daily
• Assist in creating weekly schedules
• Manage store supplies and expenses
• Assist with merchandising and checkout area to maximize sales
• Refill coolers and displays daily (balloons, sunglasses, batteries, etc.)

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
