Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor management daily
• Manage cashiering activities and cash handling practices
• Maintain effective promotional displays and signage
• Manage seasonal store areas and merchandise displays
• Handle damaged merchandise daily
• Assist with weekly staff scheduling
• Help manage store supplies and control expenses
• Maintain checkout area and impulse sales displays
• Refill coolers and program racks daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
