Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager, with a focus on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure cash handling practices are followed.
• Oversee promotional displays and seasonal areas for sales effectiveness.
• Coordinate signage and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain merchandise displays and stock levels, including coolers and program racks.
• Create weekly schedules in collaboration with the Store Manager.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
