Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect store assets, including cash, and ensure safety policies are followed
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Help ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities, ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed
• Coordinate signage and manage seasonal displays and impulse sales areas
• Handle damaged merchandise daily
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses
• Maintain checkout area for maximum impulse sales and refill store-front program racks/displays daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
