Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of the stockroom and sales floor
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications as delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness
• Manage cashiering activities in line with cash handling practices
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays
• Manage seasonal areas and merchandise presentation
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales
• Refill coolers and displays daily (e.g., balloons, sunglasses, batteries)

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
