Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery tasks.
• When the Store Manager is absent, supervise hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities, including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Ensure promotional displays and store signage are effective and appropriate.
• Assist with seasonal merchandise management and store supplies.
• Maintain the checkout area to maximize sales and ensure product replenishment.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and controlling expenses.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
