Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting the hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and merchandise presentation.
• Supervising hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing store directives, merchandise receipt, and return procedures.
• Assisting with staffing and sales floor management.
• Overseeing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Managing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas.
• Supporting weekly scheduling and expense control.
• Maintaining checkout area merchandising to maximize impulse sales.
• Refilling coolers and display racks daily.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Preferred prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
