Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor
• When the Store Manager is absent, take direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness on the sales floor daily
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure cash handling practices are followed
• Optimize promotional displays and store signage
• Manage seasonal store areas and merchandise presentation
• Coordinate signage and promotional materials
• Process damaged merchandise daily
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales
• Refill store displays and coolers daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
