Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Support sales effectiveness on the sales floor and manage cashiering activities according to company cash handling practices
• Manage store displays, signage, and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness
• Handle damaged merchandise daily
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses
• Maintain checkout area and ensure store front displays are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
