Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  3. Performing store opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
  5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  6. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
  7. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  9. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing store supplies, and merchandising.
  10. Supporting scheduling, expense control, and store displays to maximize sales.
  11. Refilling coolers and displays daily, managing seasonal areas, and ensuring signage is appropriate.
  12. Supporting cashiering activities and cash handling practices.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
