Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is not present, supervise hourly Associates
• Process directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and seasonal areas
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed
• Manage store displays, signage, and promotional fixtures
• Coordinate the replenishment of coolers and program racks/displays
• Assist with creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses
• Maintain checkout area and maximize impulse sales
• Process damaged merchandise daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
