Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is not present, supervise hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage and ensure store supplies are well-stocked and expenses controlled
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout area to maximize sales

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
