Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep store areas, stockroom, and sales floor to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure proper cash handling practices.
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment.
• Manage store supplies and control expenses.
• Assist with merchandising and impulse sales maximization.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including programs like balloons, sunglasses, batteries, etc.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
