Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensure all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee all hourly Associates
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Help ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Assist in managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices
• Optimize promotional displays and seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage in the store
• Manage store supplies and expenses
• Maintain merchandising and checkout area to maximize sales
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including special programs

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
