Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, employees, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, have supervisory responsibility over hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store operations.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling practices.
• Maintain effective promotional displays and store signage.
• Manage seasonal areas and merchandise presentation.
• Coordinate store supplies and control expenses.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily, including promotional items.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
