Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery of stockroom and sales floor.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities following cash handling guidelines.
• Enhance promotional displays and manage seasonal sales areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise displays.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize sales and ensure stock levels of promotional items.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
