Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Assist in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Maintain sales effectiveness on the sales floor and seasonal areas
• Manage cashiering activities ensuring cash handling guidelines are followed
• Coordinate store signage and merchandising
• Manage store supplies and control expenses
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales and refill store displays daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
