Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily.
• Help manage cashiering activities following cash handling practices and guidelines.
• Support promotional displays and seasonal areas to maximize sales.
• Coordinate signage and manage store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain the checkout area and refill store-front displays daily.
• Assist with scheduling and managing store supplies.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
