Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, employees, and supervisors.
6. Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
7. Providing direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
8. Processing directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
9. Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
10. Ensuring proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
11. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
12. Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
13. Coordinating signage and merchandise presentation.
14. Processing damaged merchandise daily.
15. Assisting with weekly schedule creation and managing store supplies and expenses.
16. Maintaining checkout area for impulse sales and refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
