Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Ensure proper staffing coverage daily
• Help manage cashiering activities ensuring cash handling practices are followed
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas effectively
• Coordinate signage and store displays
• Process damaged merchandise daily
• Assist with weekly scheduling
• Help manage store supplies and control expenses
• Assist with merchandising and checkout area maintenance to maximize sales
• Ensure coolers and displays are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
